TCU and Utah Scheduling

So, BYU, TCU and Utah are the top 3 of the conference. It may not always be this way, but it IS interesting that we scheduled Utah and TCU to either BOTH be away games, or BOTH be home games. Seems kind of like setting yourself up for a feast or famine year given the advantages of playing at home or away.



Was this an accident? Why not schedule them alternating so we don't have to play the toughest teams either both away or both home every two years.

It's just the way it worked out. Utah is on the same feast-or-famine schedule, they feast when we famine, but TCU always has one at home and one on the road.

I don't think we have a whole lot of say in what our conference schedule is. We can probably request a few things, but they don't have to accept those requests. They do accept the request to play Utah as the last game of the season.
