BoiseBYUTragic, tragic week. For the first time in five years, the Idaho Vandals have won two in a row. They are hereby banned from the Bottom Five. But on to the week!
5. Nebraska Cornshuskeders. This team is quietly putting together a season that will be remembered for many a year, losing this time to Northwester 30-28 after failing to convert a 2-ppoint conversion near the end of the game. They have now lost 5 games by 13 points.
4. USU. If BSU can give the game away, so can the Aggies! Capitalizing on BSU's meltdown, Aggies turn ball over 4 times and get crushed by the Aztecs, 48-14....
3. Florida State. Seminulls to change name to just the nulls after their last game. What is it with teams this season and trying to one up each week? This week Nulls lost game on last play of game with a field goal being blocked and returned for a TD (78 yards) by unranked Georgia Tech.
2. Miami. Team name has been downgraded to a tropical depression after having lost to Clemson 58-0, the worst loss in the history of the program, except for that time when chief money and benefit payer outer booster was kicked out of the program. Lot of "benefits" dried out then.
(TIE) 1. Bacon. World Health Organization says it causes cancer. This is a tempest in a teapot--everyone knows bacon will kill you by heart attack long before it gets you by cancer....
1. Seahawks. My how they mighty have fallen? Can't score on 4th and one last year in biggest game of season and now get absolutely blown out by BYU...Wait...what's that? Different Seahawks? Dang. Well, publishing deadline has passed so too late to remove
Special shout outs--Joe Biden says he's not going to run for office because he does not think he can win. Since when has that ever stopped a politician from running for office?
And let's hear it for the US Destroyer that, according to CNN, "passed several Chinese islands" with no untoward result. That's pretty impressive. I'm beaten about to death just passing kidney stones...
And what about Cowboy DE Greg Hardy? Dallas praises his leadership ability in intervening on-field in special team coach huddle about how to deal with kickoff returns in the future. With leadership like this, who needs a General Manager?
AND AND no Bottom Five would be complete without referring to Utah CB facing THE HAND
