I thought this was funny...

This week on "Cougar Sports Saturday" with myself and Alex Kirry, Kurtz lowered the facade of football solemnity and had some fun about the success that freshman quarterback Tanner Mangum is enjoying just a few short months after returning from his LDS mission in Chile.



"Must have served a good mission, got a lot of converts. He's got God paying him back and taking care of all of us," Kurtz joked.



Kurtz is not a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, so Kirry told him that usually well-served missions result in guys getting good-looking wives, not amazing football careers.



"I think he's going to get both. He's getting some action around here," Kurtz confided.

Oh great....honor code violation here we come! :P

Methinks "action" might have just a little bit different meaning at BYU than at other places. ;)
