BoiseBYUThis was a week of craziness. But some things did not change--witness OR beating WA for the 12th year in a row. Here are the week's ratings:
5. MI tried to do its best TX impression and actually one-upped the Longhorns with its last play punt snafu. This is a case where MI led for all 60 minutes and still lost. I can't recall where that has ever happened before.
4. This was a devastating week in some ways. WY actually won a game, beating UNR, thereby torpedoing any epic season the Cowboys might have. And the Idaho Vandals also won, beating the men of Troy (no not those guys, the ones in Troy Alabama).
3. FL Lost to Louisiana, and there's nto shame there. They played without their starting QB because of alleged substance issues. I guess the QB had a little too good Gator Aid going on.
2. Russian targeting. Russians keep saying they are attacking ISIS, but darn but the bombs never hit ISIS. In fact some of the Russian bombs not only did not hit ISIS, they did not hit in Syria, landing instead in Iran. Oooops.
-2 Uronner demanded this and Bottom Five must agree. BSU does not deserve a bottom five ranking. So in innovating fashion, we will put BSU at minus 2. It is deserving. Seven turnovers and giving up 45 points in the first half alone, including a 90 yard pick six to end the half. It is the first time in ages where the Vandals won and the Broncos lost on the same weekend...
Shout out to Cubbies...During the regular season they were 7-0 over the Mets. So they promptly lost the first two games of the League Championship Series.
