Where is my cheering guide?! Scott, I have no idea who to cheer for today!

What are the chances that BYU makes it into top 25? There are some upsets in the making already with:

toledo and east michigan,

iowa and northwestern definitely favors BYU as someone has to lose,

could memphis knock off Ole Miss?

is oklahoma exposed and could they lose to KSU?

How far does UCLA drop after a beatdown at the cardinal's hands?

BSU DOWN!

Thoughts on a ranked BYU?

Memphis looks like they just might beat Ole Miss. This (for me) would further reinforce the theory that SEC is a "play our own and talk a big game" type league. Memphis is good. But the #13 team shouldn't be getting beat by them....

Keep in mind that this is the Ole Miss team that beat SEC frontrunner Alabama, too.

Exactly. Plays right into my point above. Losses and wins look a lot better if you're beating/losing teams that are also ranked in the top 15.

Announcers: (speaking of Memphis D)

"This defense has shown today that it is better than the numbers it has produced this season".

No, it shows that Ole Miss' Offense is stagnant and less than average which mirrors the entire SEC's offense.

It also shows that more explosive teams such as Cincinnati, bowling green can put up much better numbers against the same defense.

Several ranked teams taking losses this week:

Memphis beats 15 Ole Miss

17 Iowa beats 20 Northwestern

15 Stanford beats 18 UCLA

Utah State beats 21 Boise State

Teams getting votes in the polls but just outside of the top 25:

Temple - TBD

Memphis - Won over 15 Ole Miss

Arizona State - TBD

Mississippi State - Won over Louisiana Tech

Georgia - TBD

Texas Tech - Won over Kansas

BYU - Won over Cincinnati

BYU might not get in just yet with teams in front of them also winning--but it appears close.

We should move up at least top 30, a few spots. We should jump BSU.

It says a lot that we are one of the highest ranked two loss teams in the nation. Also very nice word play Urroner.
