Perfect time to call it. I actually was thinking immediately before the play "it would be nice to see Linehan run this". that play was a few missed blocks from having Linehan break into the open.

I said to my neighboring fan that it's time we saw Johnny "Rugby."

I called for that a few games ago. Johnny is the perfect person to run that and a wrinkle out of the punt that the other team has to worry about.



What has gotten into Bronco. He never ran trick plays until this year. It is unnatural for him. The UCLA onsite kick, now this.

Too bad we had the biggest injury of the game on that play. Hope Ului recovers quickly.

Agreed. R Matthews is getting abused by anyone on the other side of the line from him.

With Bronco saying that all players injured in the game are probable for Friday's game I'm hopeful that Ului recovers in time for the game. We need him protecting Mangum.

Bronco and Anae showed guts with the play calling on Saturday. For me, arguably 2 of the biggest plays of the game were the fake punt, and the call to go for it on 4th and 1 from their own 34 yard line in the 1st quarter down 14. Scored a TD on both those drives. Huge difference in the game.
