Bronco improved to 9-9 (.500) against teams wearing a purple helmet.

BYU is also now 5-2 (.714) in games against the American Athletic Conference (AAC) in the Bronco era.

The Cougars won the time of possession battle again. It was the fourth time in the last five games. The last time BYU won the ToP battle four times in five games was the middle of the 2012 season when they won it in five of six games.

Tanner Mangum’s 332 yards passing give him three career 300-yard passing games. That only adds to his freshman record of 300-yard passing games.

Time to get a 400 yard game TM.

Pretty sure without Tanner getting "Hamstrung" he would have had 400+. Team was dominating with him in there. He looked very comfortable in the pocket and rolling out on Saturday.

Yeah, my bold prediction was that he would have 400 yards. And he looked well on his way to that mark until pulling up lame.
