Expectations vs reality

Before the season began, the most blue goggled among us were predicting 2-2 or 3-1 after sept. Well 2-2 is the worst we can do after this Saturday. Having said that, my expectations have been exceeded thus far this season especially taking into account BYU's personnel losses this year. I am as disappointed as anyone that we were not able to pull out the win in a game we had controlled for 3.5 quarters but instead of blaming coaches or players or both for the loss, give the other team some credit. They are ranked in the top 10 because they are GOOD!! BYU may have lost the game, but give UCLA some credit for doing what it took to win the game.

Agreed, I felt pretty blue goggled hoping for 3-1 or better in September. I want BYU to take out frustration on Michigan and show that last week was just a whatever loss vs a very good team at its home. Seriously, UCLA, destroy #16 this week.

I thought 2-2 was the best we could hope for, especially with Taysom out. I'm still sick about the UCLA loss but beating Michigan and being 3-1 would go a long way to fixing that.

You mean 3.75 quarters.

Gotta love Karma right? we stole 2 games we probably should have lost and lost a game we should have won.



Oh and by the way. Boise is really good. They just got through pounding Virginia on the road.
