Honorable mentions need to go out. First the ID Vandals gave up 434 yards, in the first two quarters alone, to USC.
Second the Fresno State bull,puppies gave up 73 points to Ol Miss. Ouch. In fact the MTN West lost every game they played last week except one, and that was where Air Force played and beat conference foe San Jose State. CSU did take MN to overtime, but to no avail. Conference to change name to molehill west.
And time for some shout outs: Guatemala's leading candidate for the Presidency is a comic. Good for him, but let's not get carried away. It's not like this is a first. The U.S. has had a joke for a President for 6 years now.
And finally, let's hear it for lobster legged James Winston. The number one pick was only 16-33 with two picks, one a pick six in a loss to TN where the other QB was OR's Marcus Mariota who threw for four TDs.
