Bold UCLA Predictions

BYU wins without the need of a hail mary type pass.



BYU running game is effective for 3 of 4 quarters.

My bold prediction BYU runs for 200 yards.

Tanner Mangum hits UCLA's defense for another 60+ yard passing score. BYU holds UCLA's defense under 20pts and BYU wins by 2 touchdowns.



Bold enough for you?

Algie Brown gets 110 yards on the ground.

A linebacker will pick up a fumble for the scoop n' score.



Hine rushes for 150 yards.



Samson kicks a 50+ yarder as time expires in the first half.

Kai Nacua gets another interception. Or two. At least one of which he will bring back for a TD.



He has legit NFL talent. I am so happy we have Kai Nacua back there. He won't level people like Daniel Sorenson, but he is one shifty, closer-on-the-ball freak. Sorry to continue my rant, but on his INT against Boise State, I LOST IT. During the run back, I was like "to the house! TO THE HOUSE BABY!!!!!" And when he dove into the endzone, oh the body language of BSU players on the field. Collectively, "Ohhhh shhhhiiiiiii*"

What? Me re likely that Algie getting 110 yards. Think about it. No offense Algie or poster.

We run a punt back for a TD, winning the game and negating the need for another hail mary. Mangum is a bit disappointed.

What if the defense just comes alive and keeps the UCLA O to less than 200 passing and less than 100 rushing

I don't know what to predict. UCLA has not really been tested by any team of BYU's power level. I'm sure that the Bruins will be tough, but which team will have the edge? I'd be worried about BYU if I were them. One thing I love about this Cougar team is their attitude. They believe in their destiny to win. They will not be intimidated by anybody. I love the swagger. I love knowing that this team will not care if there are 100K fans screaming in the Rose Bowl. There could be more BYU people in the stands compared to how we were represented at War Memorial Stadium. California is BYU country.



Wild predictions? I'll say that Tanner throws for two TD's, and runs for one. Algie gets a TD finally. Hine gets one. That's 35 points. Byu wins the TO ratio by one. PAC officials find a way to keep it close by nullifying a BYU score, and by calling a bogus personal foul against BYU that allows UCLA to get an undeserved score. BYU wins 38 to 31.

With all of the attention Nacua is going to get from UCLA, they are going to forget to double team Kaufusi. Kaufusi is going to have a big game. 10 Tackles, INT, FF, FR, TD, 3 Sacks, 4 TFL's and a Safety! He single handedly scores 8 points and that is our margin of victory

Kurtz is not a bad bet. MM and MJ will both get alot of attention. but they cant cover everyone. Kurtz can hopefully boiunce back and approach with the same intensity that MM and MJ have. he has to. He cant mess around with his predicted legacy of NFL.

Oline better be ready to protect, RB as well. Jack will be all over the place to harrass Tman and shut him down.

I heard an intervciew today that (2J?) attributed to improved run game to "better effort?" Huh? if they arent giving their all, what is going on? I could accept the oft given Wintrich effect of better conditioning. but whatever, they better find that at UCLA.



My other bold prediction, maybe i gave it already, is the appearance of DYE. He has to be unleashed.

2J isn't going to kill his guys by name, but there was a change that was made about the time the run game picked up.

Tanner's older brother Madison (who plays for ISU) will score three touchdowns against BSU this week and forever put the stamp of M on the Broncos :) I know it has nothing to do with UCLA but still....
