PAC wants Olympic model for athlete pay

I hope it goes through. If so I expect BYU to completely surpass a lot of teams in the P5. The marketing for a BYU player would be light years ahead of most other schools in the west.

Maybe when a kid comes in like Jabari and sees how nuts we are over a star athlete they'd see dollar signs rather than red flags. I know next to nothing about his recruitment but the little I've heard and what is obvious is byu fans are pretty over the top when it comes to a star. (See jimmers continued following) I can see why it would scare a recruit off. Not that they don't want the stage they just don't want stockers.
