Beck and Hall--deja vous all over again...

I love the synchronicity with how both of their careers ended. Both were a bit under fire coming in to their senior seasons for lacking signature wins. People complained that they were great stats QBs, but could not win the big one. Both had some good wins and some bad losses. And both put those criticisms to bed--EMPHATICALLY--with dramatic wins over Utah to end their senior seasons, then stunning bowl game wins over PAC 10 foes to back it up. Both finished 11-2 as Cougars. And both deserve our gratitude and thanks for making BYU football better while they were there!



I forgot to mention that both gave us a post game meltdown--Beck cried after a tough loss and Hall went postal after a great win. Linked at the hip these two.

Yeah, good company with Jimmy Mac. Max hated the Utes, Mac hated BYU. :)

Well, we all know what happens when your living right on and off the field.. Right? ;)

Max threw 10 INTs the first five games. Then he threw four in the final eight.

First Five Games: 104-153-10-1403, 11 TDs 155.65 rating

Last Eight Games: 171-256-4-2157, 22 TDs 162.81 rating
