Reasons for Taysom to come back

People have talked about reasons for Taysom to hang it up. How about reasons to come back?



A big one for me, if I were in his position: getting another crack at Utah. :evil: Oh, and all that stuff about the Heisman, NFL, playoff, national championship, etc., too.

How about an nfl pay check? He may very well have a good job lined up but despite his age if he could get even an udfa pay check for a year that's a huge boast to start life out with and the other opportunities would still be there. Get a byu graduate degree while you're at it. Even if he's too old for the draft he's to athletic to not have someone take a chance on him if he shows he can stay healthy. I'm too optimistic but I think he's just been unlucky . The kid looked awesome on Saturday .



Get a free graduate degree from a pretty decent school and have a chance at the nfl. Maybe he can have that chance without coming back though.

If I'm Taysom, I've written off the NFL at this point. If Mangum has a good season, I use the graduate transfer rule and go play a season at Harvard in exchange for free tuition in their MBA or MSF programs.

Bingo. ORrrrrr.....reconnect with Harbaugh at Michigan. One thing is for sure, they could use a QB...



I believe that he will hang 'em up. If not, I believe that he will transfer. And that might just be best for the program, long term.



He will always be one of my favorite players ever, no matter what he decides to do.

The NFL has probably written him off at this point. If I were an NFL GM, with three season-ending injuries there is no way I'm wasting a pick or roster spot on him.

How about finishing what he started at BYU and rejoining Williams for one last year. I have an ortho friend and he was saying he thinks TH is done but the early reports were that it was a break but now it is just a sprain. Six weeks off of it completely, then reevaluate. Most likely done for this year but still not as bad as a break or a dislocation although surgery is still a possibility. But if the report that it is not a break or dislocation is true then who knows. Rehab is still required but what would a tweet from Williams do to encourage him to return? Whether he comes back or not I think they should still apply for a medical hardship and have it in their back pocket in case things fall just right. As for TM - he still has a redshirt year if he wants to play four years :whistle: .
