Really none of our future opponents were particularly impressive. It's time to start a win streak!



A win over Boise next week and maybe we're ranked?

UCLA looked plenty good to me.

Nebraska- Slightly better than expected, IMO. Great run D (hopefully), surprisingly better QB play and passing game. Mediocre RB core, poor pass D, mediocre special teams, coaching questions.

Boise State (16-13 W over Washington)- Worse than expected. Very very good defense, but slow offense in game 1. Almost playing possum with us (they were playing their ex-Coach).

UCLA (34-16 W over Virginia)- Better than expected. Surprisingly GREAT QB play, very strong passing game. Very good/great overall team.

Michigan (17-24 L to Utah)- About the same as expected, possibly slightly worse. Poor QB play.

UConn (20-15 W over Villanova)- Worse than expected.

East Carolina (28-20 W over Towson)- Much worse than expected.

Cincinnati (35-7 W over Alabama A&M)- About the same as expected, possibly slightly worse. Great QB, elite passer.

San Jose State (43-13 W over New Hampshire)- Slightly better than expected.

Missouri (34-3 W over Southeast Missouri State)- About the same as expected, possibly slightly worse. Strong QB, strong RBs.

Fresno State (34-13 W over Abilene Christian)- About the same as expected.

Utah State (12-9 W over Southern Utah)- Much worse than expected. Poor QB play, anemic offense. Defense could be strong.
