Favorite Moment of the Game

Aside from Oregon State's 6 yard punt, my favorite part of the bowl game tonight was when Lou Holtz said something to the affect of "BYU was the 'classiest' team we ever played."

I could just hear the ute fans wathcing hoping to see max hall stink it up just blowing their tops.

I don't remember Coach Holtz saying anything negative about BYU.

My favorite moment was Tonga PLOWING over some chump then strolling into the endzone! LOVE IT

ABSOLUTELY! In fact, from another camera angle, it was obvious that HE WAS DRIVING HIS HELMET AFTER THE BALL, exactly what you teach a good defensive player to do. The other players helmet was never involved and the refs screwed it up.

absolute best play, but ESPN clearly had a BCS team's interests in mind by not replaying that smashing.

It was clearly shoulder to shoulder! The refs are going crazy making these stupid calls! I see at least one of these bad calls made in every game I watch! Time to drop the rule!

IIRC he plowed over TWO chumps and then strolled in. Not to be contrary or anything. Maybe in the morning it will have been half a dozen.

Got called for, not committed. He hit the ball, not the player's helmet.

Hands down, when we recovered the "fumbled" backwards pass and took it in for the TD.

Anyone notice how Pendleton - knowing that he had a few BYU guys behind him - completely plowed over the OSU receiver instead of going after the ball? Loved that :lol:

My favorite part was the entire game, but the two 6 yard punts by OSU was great. We though BYU's kicking game was bad, I don't remember any of BYU's kicks for the year go into the stands. :lol:

This really didn't have to do with the game but Greg Rubel said midway through the 4th qtr. He mentioned the officiating crew was staying in the same hotel as he was and at least the head ref was the same one who did the Utah BYU game this year. The ref mentioned he had been a Big twelve ref his whole career and had done many rivalry games, he said hands down the BYU Utah game is absolutely the worse rivalry game he has ever done. He said he was very shocked at the hatred between the two teams and the game was extremely hard to ref because of it.

Wow, interesting comment... well, I don't like Utah, in fact I hate them, I hate everything about them... their entire program and university if classless..!

Another great play was the 3rd and goal touchdown to Pitta from the 17. I was ready to concede a field goal try, and instead we got a touchdown and put the game away.

Pitta had a great game to end his career--George did too...Pitta's one handed grab to keep that one drive going was huge. Also the penalty on OSU on the play OC fumbled was huge....
