2015 defensive questions

How is the defense going to look compared to a relatively abysmal 2014 defense? Do we know if nacua is going to be playing at all in the opener, or at all in 2015? Will new QBs be able to throw over the top at will against BYU like USU in 2014? I dont know much about the 2015 defense, but am hoping for a more disciplined, smarter unit this year.

I would be willing to be money that the points per game drops by about 10 from the 28 they gave up last year. Bronco's entire philosophy is controlling points even at the expense of giving up yards.

But the OP is right on. A lot of questions on D going into this season. And I'm not sure there is a ton of talent that has been present in past. I saw the 2013 replay of BYu v BSU game. LBs included KVN, Hadley, Unga, and Fua. All NFL talent, with KVN making everybody else look better--that was a very talented group.

But my greatest comfort comes in knowing Bronco has taken back over the D. There may or may not be any NFL talent beyond Kaufusi, but he will have this group firing on all cylinders, assignment sound, flying around the football, and synergizing as a team.
