Alan Hamson

Today there is a lot of rumblings (Cougar Board) about Alan Hamson walking on at BYU instead of taking a scholarship for other schools. Has anyone seen a tweet (I don't tweet or facebook) that would confirm this?

Any idea if that is a current picture? In other words is Alan now home from his mission. I kind of think it is, because Jenn's younger sister was only around 6' 5" when Alan left and she now looks taller than Jenn (but I could be wrong on that one).

Take that back, more than likely before, because he does not look 9" taller than his parents (4" or 5", yes).

He is back from his mission I believe.

Alright, who's pitching in to get him some bananas, peanut butter, and protein shakes?

He's going to move in with Shawn Bradley.

At the moment he is scheduled to be released from the CA Ventura Mission 26th of August. Missionary end dates move here and there though. Wouldn't be a date amicable for doing too much this season though for any team.

All of them. The MTC makes the front of the Provo Temple the "say goodbye zone". Take your pictures and say goodbye to the family and then take them across the street to the MTC and they litterally take the missionary out of the car and start walking away with them, while another missionary grabs the luggage out of the car.



So all the family pictures are taken out in front of the Provo Temple.

I didn't know that either until just before I took my son to the MTC. They sent a letter I think as part of his mission call giving us the rules for dropping off missionaries at the MTC.

When do you get your tags now? When I went you didn't get your tag until you checked in at the desk inside the MTC. He wouldn't have a tag and be with his family until after his mission. :P

He gets home late August so this was before his mission.

Possible it was before he got released by his stake president. I didn't get released until the following day after my return.
