Sounds as if he finished up high school in early January, so he could be an early admit to BYU as well, and get a jump start for next year. If the kid plays spring ball I expect him to play a lot next year for BYU. I am psyched by this signing! This class looks awesome! I hope they perform on he field for us like I think hey can.

Wow. This was so out of left field and SO appropriate...nomination for joke of the year? Q is on our side! Jean-Luke's of the conference beware!

Fantastic! I had to check the link to make sure it was true. Now I know why Bronco told Borbon no. He knew that the Q would come in that slot. Our team ranking was 17 on Scout yesterday. Now I want to see where we fall after this addition.

Can someone provide us with his height, weight, speed, etc? How are his receiving skills? Will he be a running back, a slot receiver, or what? Anyone?

He's listed at 5' 11" 210 lbs 4.55 forty time. Ran for over 1600 yards this season and averaged just over ten yards a carry and 20 touchdowns, 3.3 gpa, 335 lb bench, 445 lb squat, 36-inch vertical, and a partridge in a pear tree.

From day one that he stepped onto BYU’s campus, Quezada felt at home and in the right place. “I love the players there. They were great with me, and especially the running backs that I met on my trips," said Quezada. “They weren’t looking me up thinking that I was going to take their spots or anything like that. They couldn’t have been more friendly. At Utah it was the other way around; the running backs weren’t that friendly at all and seemed a bit threatened by me. I didn’t like that, but I definitely got along well with BYU’s running backs that are currently there. They made me feel like I belonged and that they wanted me as a teammate.”

Interestingly, I think Quezada coming to BYU helps Heaps in the QB competition. BYU should have more depth at RB now. That should reduce the amount BYU will need running production from the QB position.

Not LDS, sounds similar to DiLuigi in that he's not a partier and wants to go to a school where values and character are more important than beer pong competitions.
