Not familiar with Solomone Kafu or Kevin O'Mary, are they from other schools?

It's a good thing you don't know Kevin O'Mary's name. That's a sign of a very good deep snapper. ;) He deep snapped for us in every game the last two years with 0 botched snaps.

It's a good thing you don't know Kevin O'Mary's name. That's a sign of a very good deep snapper. ;) He deep snapped for us in every game the last two years with 0 botched snaps.

Now that's embarrassing. I usually try to keep track of the deep snapper. I can give myself a pass for forgetting about a kid who missed most of the season with injury....

Harvey Jackson w/ 4/68 40 time and 6 reps of 225. Yep. Clearly it was nepotism keeping him off the field.



Those numbers suggest a lack of work ethic.

A punter with that speed, we should have tried a fake punt in there somewhere.



Way to go Leslie with that 40 time.

Stewart didn't participate. I would have liked to seen him give it a try.



Did anyone stand out? I don't have time to analyze the numbers.

Jordan Leslie looked really good.



Skye Povey looked really good.



Devin Mahina's numbers would have put him in the top 5 of every category for TE's if he'd been invited to the combine.

A few really good performances which make you wonder if we underutilized Mahina or if he's simply not a gamer. He had a good day.



Fua put up safety numbers and I wonder if he's better suited to play SS in the league.. He's way too small to play OLB in the NFL.



Robertson Daniel also put up safety numbers (not an NFL corner).



Based on that combine our secondary should have been much better ... I don't if we blame that on lack of pass rush or if our DC was terribad.



I'll miss Leslie, he's a special player and deserved to have a consistent QB getting him the ball.

Wouldn't that be a kick in the pants if Povey got into the NFL after what everyone said about him.

You understand you are defending Skye PoVey and Nick Howell in this battle, don't you? Try to rewrite history all you would like, but the fact remains that Jackson looked better each and every time he played, and PoVey didn't sit for his NUMEROUS lapses in coverage and mental mistakes. When asked about them at the end of games, Howell would talk about how everyone else blew coverage and that is why PoVey got burned, took the wrong assignment, double covered a crossing route and left the post wide open to the endzone, etc.



If starting ahead of people better than you and your bro in law throwing other teammates under the bus for you isn't nepotism, I'd like to know what you think is.



Jackson sounds like a guy that gave up on football. Lots of people do post college. And any scout worth a lick has enough tape on PoVey jumping on wrong routes and missing coverage to move on, even IF big bro is shaving time of his 40 (and I'm not the person that started that).

I've been saying for close to two years now that Daniel should be playing safety. Guy is as good of a tackler in the open field as you will see, and has the measurables to be a pro backup.

Dude, you are so convinced of yourself on this (blinded) you missed the obvious sarcasm. If you think for a moment that HOWELL had anything to do with PoVeys time, let alone that HOWELL could even have any influence on the timing, you are willing to believe just about anything to support your position. I suppose you would blame HOWELL for Jacksons performance? Howell is guilty of much and maybe even a little favoritism. But as I recall, none of the secondary was tearing it up last year.
