I Loved Watching This Team

I am so disappointed by tonight's turn of events. BUT. I loved watching and following this year's team. Record setting Haws and KC. Spark plug Halford. Developing Kaufusi. Battling through injuries galore. We had some great moments. They played with class and effort.

It was one of the most fun seasons to watch, and also one of the most aggravating. Proud of what they did this year, hope they are serious about fixing the flaws.

I didn't like their inability to come back and finish games when down. The Maui tournament was a microcosm of their entire season...tantalizingly close but not able to consistently close out big games. Hopefully, their D will be much improved next year. This one aspect keeps them from getting deep into the tournament.

I second this. Last night stunk but I'd rather watch this team entertain me for 2 hours with their style then watch a 48-53 game that seems to be common in college ball.

The Haws to Collinsworth Alley-oop might be the prettiest thing I've ever seen a Cougar basketball team do.



It was a good year, and a blast to watch. I still pinch myself at how many games we get to watch of these guys! This was a good, but not great team that battled through injuries that night in and night out put a very fun brand of basketball on display.

Amen.......I wish we had more cuts like that because we could have a lot more of those.

The media is saying this will be the most entertaining game of the tournament. Good show, too bad we done get to move on.

I look at it from a different angle. That last game was a microcosm of the entire season. Hot one second, ice cold the next. Halfway decent defense one minute, leaky as a sieve the next. I figured that at some point BYU would go cold and get beat, just din't figure it would happen after that first half went so well.

I loved watching the team that had a 17 point lead at the half. I could leave the team that gave up 62 points in the second half! Credit has to be given to Ole Miss. Way to come back from the biggest deficit that you faced this year, too bad it was at the expense of my Cougs.
