Tournament seeding

So I understand that a lot of the 13-16 seed teams are automatic bids and therefore aren't included in the "Last 4 in" or "Bubble" discussion, but can someone explain to me how Lunardi's latest bracket has Boise State as a 12 Seed, BYU as an 11 seed/play in game, and yet BYU is one of the "last 4 in", and Boise State doesn't even on the "Last 4 Byes" list?

It's because Lunardi isn't following all the rules the committee has to. Right now he's putting teams on the grid "close" to where they need to be.



If all of the first 4 are seeded 11, the lowest seeded at large team will have to be 11.
