He wasn't 100% until mid-December.

...will he have next year? Will the team makeup be conducive to Kyle extending the NCAA record, or will Nick take over point guard (assists) and Kaufusi, Aytes, Davis become the rebounders?

This is why it would be better if KC took care of the issue tonight. One of his triple doubles is against GU, so let's do it again and then we can put the overall record behind me.
