Boston College (H) over NC State - will probably knock NC State off the bubble and out of the discussion

Georgetown (R) over St John's - Bubble team ahead of us

Mizzou (R) over Georgia - Georgia seems to be safely in, but losing this game puts that into question

La Salle (R) over Rhode Island - stops RI from passing us in line

Tulane (H) over Cincinnati - losing this game could knock Cincinatti several spots back, possibly enough to go behind us

North Carolina (R) over Miami - let's hope NCU can prevent Miami from picking up a big win and securing themselves in the tourney

Vill (R) over Xavier - same as above - Xavier winning probably puts them in the field

VCU (H) over Dayton - same as above - Dayton winning probably puts them in the field

Utah ST. (R) over Air Force - RPI

Ole Miss (R) over LSU - Ole Miss is probably in the field, but LSU is still a question, so let's give them another loss

UMass (H) over Fordham - RPI, but if UMass loses they will fall behind us in line for the field

Kansas (H) over Texas - Texas losing probably knocks them from consideration for at-large, just based on sheer volume of conference losses

E Washington (H) over Montana - RPI

North Texas (H) over Old Dominion - ODU is considered a dark-horse for getting a surprise bid. Losing today makes that less likely

PSU (H) over Iowa - Iowa is probably in, but losing to PSU puts that in doubt and could make them a bubble team

George Washington (R) over Davidson - bubble team ahead of us

Northwestern (R) over Illinois - bubble team ahead of us

LBSU (H) over CS Fullerton - RPI

Memphis (H) over Tulsa - bubble team ahead of us

UNLV (H) over Wyoming - Wyoming being floated as a darkhouse at-large, losing another game makes that less likely

SDSU (H) over Boise ST - RPI & Boise winning probably puts them in the field, so this is a key game

AR-LR (R) Tx Arlington - RPI

Auburn (R) over Texas A&M - bubble team ahead of us

Utah (H) over Arizona - RPI

BYU (R) over Gonzaga - obvious. We really want to be sure that this game ends. As has been mentioned by others, just playing this game improves our numbers (RPI & SOS). Sadly seeing these numbers rise may only lead ESPN to double down and say that despite having good SOS, RPI, BPI, and Pomeroy, we aren't deserving. But winning this game basically ends the bubble watch for us and we're in.

Well. Lunardi says we are still "first 4 out". Not good news considering we just beat the #2/#3 team in the country.

Other teams had upset wins today. BSU and Tulsa won big games. We need to win our first game in the tourney. We're not a lock yet but close to it.

Well we got two good wins or rather losses today (Indiana & ATM). Tomorrow's lineup:



Tennessee (R) over LSU - this would likely drop LSU below us

UMass (H) over Richmond - we need our win over UMass to look better

Pitt/Miami toss-up would be best if they both lost

Michigan St (H) over Purdue - having Purdue win does not improve our resume enough to justify having a bubble team win (they stay in the 50-100 RPI range) if they were to win though it won't hurt us as much as other bubble teams winning

Tulsa/Cincinnati - another toss-up both are in reach probably Cincinnatti more so, perhaps leaning a little towards Tulsa winning, but really a toss-up on the net benefit for us

Marquette (H) over St. John's - finally an easy one to pick. Marquette beating St. John's would really hurt St. John's resume

Utah St. (R) over Wyoming - RPI, if Utah St. can win their next two games, and at least 1 in the conference tourney, our win over them gets a serious upgrade (from top 150 to top 100)

USC (R) over UCLA - UCLA is considered a long-shot at best, but a loss to USC would move them out of the mix

Nevada (H) over Col St - losing to Nevada may put Colorado State on the wrong side of the bubble

Nebraska (R) over Illinois - same as above. Losing to Nebraska would seriously dampen Illinois' chances for at-large

SJSU (H) over Boise St - not only would this hurt Boise and put us clearly ahead of them, it would really hurt the momentum they have right now in the MWC

SDSU (R) over UNLV - SDSU losing this hurts our resume, so we want them to win it (winning it doesn't help the resume)

Oregon St (H) over Oregon - this likely moves us ahead of Oregon

Hawaii (H) over UC Santa Barbara - RPI



Lots of chances to move up without playing tomorrow. Lets hope for a good night of full of upsets (other than SDSU of course)

Another win over SMC and the Zags, and it could be argued that BYU is indeed now the best team in the WCC. We obviously weren't a month ago, but two wins over Gonzaga within two weeks and an argument could be made.

Well, LSU just chocked vs. Auburn.



So LSU was ahead of us barely within the "first 4 byes" section - yet they were listed as a 7 seed, which is confusing to me. Soooo, do they drop below us? It seems weird that they would drop from a 7 to out...That math is not adding up for me.

By the way, that KT Harrell guy on Auburn is not only a phenomenal player, but a class act. That's the kind of player I can cheer for.
