Portland doing everything they can to win this one. It's going to be a cat fight for the full 40 it appears. BYU needs to limit mistakes and needs to start hitting shots.



Portland getting every look they want on the offensive side. Getting the ball to the high post. They've looked pretty efficient so far.



Their PG also getting into the lane whenever he wants.

collinsworth has missed a couple point blank shots that he usually makes.

Chase fisher also having a rough outing. Which as we all know, doesn't bode well for BYU.

Our defensive effort is frenetic, uneven and out of floor balance. Step one is to get everyone to focus back in on D and on the boards. Step two is for Halford, Winder or Fischer to hit a couple of 3's. We need to loosen the D on Haws and give KC a little more space to drive.

The crowd is heavily BYU weighted. Loving hearing the BYU chants all night long.

Skyler Halford is the MVP of this game. He was the spark that got BYU going in the second half and he also made critical baskets when BYU needed to answer a Portland run.

Halford was hitting shots but Winder's 5 steals, Bartley's 4 steals and KC 3's got us some needed stops with needing some rebounds.

The first time ever that I was able to hear the visiting BYU fans "left/right" an opposing player as he fouled out. That my friends, was a classic.!
