BYU v Pepperdine

BYU is off to a very bad start against Pepperdine. Shots aren't falling and rebounds are all going to Pepperdine. BYU has trailed by as many as 14 in the first half.

Lazy defense and bad offense. BYU needs to come out in the second half with some fire.

Haws was sure pissed at the refs. They must have felt that he had a legit beef or they would have whistled him for a T for getting in their face. At least two Pepperfine players should have been ejected for deliberate hard fouls, especially the one that hacked Kaufusi with both elbows from the back. We'll lose this one unless Rose is able to pressure those officials to make honest calls against that "Number One Defense."

So BYU comes out in the second half giving up offensive rebounds and generally not playing as intense as they should be. If BYU keeps up this lazy play in the second half, we are going to have an embarrassing loss on our home floor.

I agree. This team is so Jekyll and hyde it is ridiculous.

It is about time. BYU finally taking advantage of Pepperdine's mistakes.

I think we are in for another comeback loss. Just too many mistakes to complete this comeback. This one is going to hurt. BYU should never lose to a team like this on its home floor. Unacceptable.

What was Winder thinking taking that deep three?

This is a humiliating and unacceptable loss. This one could very literally keep us out of the NCAA tourney.

This is the first bad loss BYU will get this season. It will definitely look bad on the post season resume.

BYU hasn't exactly been stellar in regards to decisions late in close games this year. kind of the norm...

Okay, lets call this one a VERY bad loss then. Getting beaten soundly on your own floor to a very bad team is how you get left out of the NCAA tourney.

I think this is Dave Rose's most frustrating team. Last year frustrated the heck out of me but this team just simply takes the cake. You just don't lose to Pepperdine on your home floor, simple as that. We have the soon to be all time leading scorer in BYU history playing for us right now and we lose to crappy WCC teams on our home floor. Simply ridiculous.

Seeing how Rose and co. have never won a tournament (MWC or WCC), forgive me for not getting my hopes up.
