This is beneficial in more ways than the accolades. Karoma is good friends with WR recruit Akile Davis and will be instrumental in helping him adjust to BYU atmosphere as Akile is not LDS. Karoma is a great example of a true freshmen with intelligence, passion, hard work ethic and desire to succeed getting lots of playing time and starting the most minutes of any OL player. Gives a lot of incoming freshmen hope that they can contribute immediately if they put their mind to it.

This may just have been what sealed the deal with Kieffer Longson's recruitment. "Hey, come here and we can make you an all-american right out of the gates."
