Brayden Kearsley Transfering to OR St U

according to rumor board. I suspect it will be official after the bowl game. His playing time has been limited to injury.

I've always been disappointed that we didn't get a fully healthy Kearsley while he was at BYU. It seems like lineman injuries is a common theme lately.

kearsley and leavitt are good buddies.. both are transferring... I have a feeling they both think they're better than they are. Kearsley to me has been a disapointment in his work ethic and production... however I liked both for their mean streak... they liked to hit and they liked to mix it up... neither have struck me as smart players though

This one for me is confusing. Brayden played as a true freshman. A lot actually. Injuries seemed to be the problem this year as far as playing time goes. Maybe he didn't like 2J stating you had to earn your position every week.

Seems like more than half the 4-5 star players we get underachieve or transfer. Could it be the culture of Byu football? Hard working, earn your keep, nothing given. As a big time recruit could Brayden have thought he deserved more?

Wouldn't that be ironic if Bronco became the head coach at Oregon State. :lol:

I hope it turns out not to be true. But after looking at Kearsley's twitter feed, I am guessing it is more of an academic thing than a football thing. It would not be the first time a big time player could not handle the academic side of things.

Gosh, BYU's academics drive me bat-$#!]-insane. Why don't they get off their holier-than-thou horse and let these poor athletes from different backgrounds have the benefit of a lower academic standard to live up to? Now this kid will have this scarlet letter of academic ineptitude following google-searches of his name for the rest of time.

Looks like it was academics after all. I have a feeling if Kearsley would have known he would get to brawl he would have kept his grades up and gone to the bowl game.
