ECU or Cincy?

So, if our bowl game does end up being vs an AAC opponent (they have six bowl tie-ins and only five bowl eligible teams), it looks like it'll either be Cincy or East Carolina (Memphis will probably get taken first, and we've already played UCF and Houston). Which do you think we end up playing/why? And which would you prefer to play/why?

Sagarin has Memphis and Cincinnati the same. A little better than East Carolina. ECU was ranked earlier in the season and looked to have a good, fast offense. All three are good.

Don't care. Well beat any team from the AAC.



Stewart has figured out the position - for the most part.



Anae has figured out how to call plays with the current available talent - for the most part.



The defense has figured out how to make plays and get stops when they need them again - for the most part.



I think - for the most part - that we'll finish 9-4.

A pretty amazing feat, all things considered. Way to go Cougs. Here's hoping any cougar fans outside of southern Florida even show up for the game.

CBS Sports predicts that we will get Memphis--9-3 overall, 7-1 for 1st in conference. That would be as good an opponent as possible.

I wouldn't mind ECU. I thought it was kind of cool when we played UCLA a bunch of time back to back a few years ago. They're all random teams so I'd prefer to see a December match up with ECU than a rematch next season for the game in October. It would make it a little more meaningful.

ECU scares me against our team because they have big, tall, fast, physical receivers and they like to throw the long ball a lot. I think Cincy, or even Memphis, is probably a better match up for us this year.

i want the team that makes us look better than other possible big12 expansion candidates. i would like to beat Cincinnati. I would also like a rematch against UCF. Bronco better win this game no matter who we play!!
