Holmoe interview and future schedules

While watching the Savannah State game (yes, I watched the entire game :) ), the field reporter interviewed Tom Holmoe and of course asked him about future schedules and if he wanted to make some kind of announcement. He just laughed it off and said that 2015 is looking "pretty solid" at this point (though it was noted by the guys calling the game that UNLV had been taken off for Missouri and Idaho State had been taken off (going to play UNLV in place of BYU is the rumor) and that most big games are on the road because "teams will come to Provo but we have to play at their place first". So there is still 1 home game yet to be announced.

Another interesting thing to me was a comment he said about 2016 and 2017. It was simply something like who knows what they will look like with changes. 2016 currently only has 5 road games (including Arizona at Univ of Phoenix Stadium) and 3 home games and 2017 has 5 home games and 4 road games. But it sounds like things could still be in flux.

Schedules in flux are one of the joys of being Independent :roll:

I thought I was the only one who watched the whole game.



The away schedule is as difficult as any other team in the country next year.

BYU will face 3 new starting QB's (Boise State, Mich & UCLA) and possibly 2 new HC's (Mich & Neb?) in their 1st 4 games of 2015. #BYUSN

Hopefully that means the schedule isn't as overwhelming as it might be. 8)
