Is Holmoe still a Lutheran, or did he convert at some point?

Convert to the Church. Not sure which year, but it has been awhile. Was serving as a counselor in a Stake Presidency in recent years. Not sure if he still is or not.

He was released last March as the 1st counselor in the Spanish Fork Utah YSA Stake.

Imagine that, hard work and perseverance paying off. This "Young" fella must've had a lot of grit.



Unfortunately rare traits in today's athletes. Interesting that Young thought about leaving the football team, but he never mentioned transferring. Made the most of what seemed to be a hopeless situation and never looked back. Might just have to get this book.

In fact, he did have a lot of " Grit" in him. Presumably about 50% genetically and who knows how much psychologically.
