Mique Juarez would be a huge get. He decommitted from USC.

Apparently, Mique Juarez is not interested in BYU. I read an article this evening that I can't find now that says BYU is not in his top three.

That was before we got a new head coach. There was a picture with him and his mom wearing a BYU shirt. Previously we probably did not try hard to recruit him.

Wow, a 5 star #1LB in the nation deciding to take a visit to BYU. Sure, our chances of getting him may be slim to none, but isn't this the type of hype that we love to dream about? Since we've been hiring coaches based on recruiting ability over coaching resume, maybe they can actually land the kid and prove their worth as hires? 8)

We've had the #1 ranked kid at his position before, it doesn't always work out.

Definitely agree, as long as they have to earn their way on to the field rather than get it based solely on stars.

The rumor is that he is not attending practice and might be leaving UCLA. Because he is having trouble adjusting to D1 and currently is 3-4th string, is homesick with family in Utah and missed his girl friend who is at BYU. He might be coming our way.

Also heard that he is doing fine and is staying.
