Personally, I like seeing Utah St. win games and succeed athletically - against everyone but BYU. I know this will raise eyebrows, But I like seeing the UofU win too - against USC, both Washington schools, both Oregon schools, etc. I think it helps put the state of Utah on the map athletically so they are not dismissed as "cow patch USA." I think it collectively help BYU get respect - if we do our part and win too.



So, I like seeing both Uof U and USU win games, win respect, climb in the AP Top 25, win their Bowl games, etc. - but get crushed by BYU when we play them. It's the "crushing them" part that has been lacking lately. We have not been "doing our part" and winning. It has caused much grief and consternation.

But in 1993, the rivalry and sibling status began to return to normal. In the 21 games since, BYU has lost 14 of the 21 games (.333). And BYU is once again, horrid at home with a 3-8 (.273) and been reentrenched in its Little Brother status.

Sure, but the OP wad talking about USU. It is clear to anyone with eyes that Utah had surpassed us in the Meyer/Whittingham era (though your stats back that up nicely)



What about USU though? They are essentially little brother who is now as tall as us.
