LAS VEGAS BOWL 2009

I'd like to use this thread to essentially be a one-stop spot to view all sorts information about the bowl game. You could post tickets that are for sale, good hotel deals, restaurant or entertainment suggestions, tips how to deal with traffic or avoid some of the saucier sides of Las Vegas.



So those of you with Vegas Bowl experience, impart unto the rest of us your wisdom and insights.



I'd specifically like to know where people have gotten their tickets and prices they paid. Also, how to avoid the traffic before and after the game if that's even possible. Do they not run a shuttle out there from the team hotel, the strip or some shopping mall or something?

I just got on OSU's website and they still have tickets and talk about a shuttle to and from the Venetian (OSU's team hotel). Tickets are going for $50 but there is a $35 handling fee for each order. So if you have a large enough group (which with BYU you can only get a limited number of tickets each) this might be a good way to go.

BYU's tickets are $65 but that includes all fees. So depending on if you can get priority to buy and if you don't a have a large group, it might not be a bad way to go.

I've checked KSL but they all seem to be way overpriced on there. Probably puke fans who thought they were going to be going.

The actual Las Vegas Bowl has already sold their allotment on tickets. But as yet, I don't believe either school has announced they are all out of the allotment the LVB gave them. Also, just because it's a reported sell-out doesn't mean there aren't scalpers trying to unload some tickets or make a quick buck.
