1. To win the National Championship (Killed by a herd of cows)
2. To go to a NY6 bowl game (Killed by Knights in Orlando)
3. To achieve the highest ranking possible (Over the last 35 years, every 3 loss or fewer BYU team has finished ranked in a major poll)
4. To win as many games as possible
5. To be bowl eligible and play the best bowl team possible
6. To be better than Utah

A. Cheer for BYU. Duh.
BYU over Boise State
B. Cheer for the team playing Utah. If we need help from Utah in any way then it is not worth having.
USC over Utah
C. Cheer for BYUâs opponents. This helps SOS.

Virginia (4-3) over North Carolina
Utah St. (4-3) over UNLV (2-5)

D. Cheer for teams playing ranked teams. If both teams are ranked cheer for the team that if they win will give more votes to BYU (Of course rules A-C trump rule D).
