I just don't think Anae is ready to open up the O and will try to grind out a boring safe, smack down O, when instead he should open up the throttle and let these kids play utilize his playmaking receivers and bruising backs and play action and score in bunches and at least entertain the crowd.

I think Anae will take what the defense gives him within the constraints of what his inexperienced QB and inconsistent blockers can be relied upon to execute. I hope Leslie is reasonably healthy. Expect to see some tight end action as well. Big question mark is the health of JW. Offense should get their 24. Nevada is one of the few teams with a worse pass defense than BYU.



you did not mention the defense. Nevada will run max protect and chuck it up in the air about 40-50 times. I hope the dbs have worked on coverage, because max protect will give fajardo time to throw. Not sure the defense will meet their 23 point target.

Throw for a 135 PER. Hold Nevada below 119 PER.

31-28 BYU just not going to pick against them.Key is the QB play and staying healthy and get at least 100 rushing.

You were right. You got my context. I meant to pick pick UNR 35-BYU-24. And since when does Anae take what the D gives him? He is a staunch and stubborn "we do what we do and don't worry about the D."

BYU fans should pull for a shootout; Cougs have won 47 straight games when scoring 30+ pts; UNR 1-9 under Polian when allowing 30+.

Bronco needs to change that offensive target from 24 to 30 - especially now that the defense is rarely hitting their target of 23.



25 would have beaten UCF in regulation on the road.
