BYU's MPA program?

Anyone know anything or have had any relationship with BYU's MPA program?

I was head-hunted and asked to interview for a faculty position there and thought I'd ask our reliable forum of anonymous soap-boxers for any views or experiences they've had with the department or program. I'll get information from other sources, too, of course, but this forum often turns up some interesting perspectives.

I have heard it's pretty top notch, but I really don't know anything about it.

I'd briefly considered signing up for the JD/MPA program in 1995 but didn't. At that time I heard that it was one of the best in the country. Like much of what I post here, this is of no value to you, but at least it is slightly related to the topic, so I consider that to be a victory of sorts.
