On the bright side, basketball starts in 4 weeks.

There's a bunch more fun to be had this season. I'm not giving up on it yet. It's BYU football darn it, we have ups and downs every year. It'll still be fun

I've been saying it for several games. Mental mistakes, over and over, probably keep us in this game if removed. This team has fight but lacks focus and discipline. And no more indicative of this trend than the seven offsides on KOs, and two back to backs in ine season. If that's not a pattern.....and that's why we were defeated. Oh and the mental midgetry of our DBs, who were supposed to be a team strength.

Woke up this morning refreshed, but within about ten seconds, I remembered.... :sick:



This is the biggest downside to independence. One loss and suddenly there is not much unique to play for, except pride. Though, unlikely as it may it may seem right now, if we were to somehow regroup under Stewart and blow through the rest of our schedule, I think in this instance we had enough prominence already that the powers that be might excuse us the loss of Taysom in this one; possibly allowing us to climb fairly high in the rankings and make some noise. Utah State would need to be on fire going forward, Stewart would have to emerge as the next great QB, and we would need dominant defense (please Bronco, take over). Not the most likely situation.
