BYU QBs thru 19 Starts

I've updated the BYU QBs thru 19 Starts. Sean Covey has now dropped off the list and Jake Heaps and Riley Nelson will drop off next week.



The three colors you see are the highest in each category (green), the median (yellow) and lowest (red). Also, number in italics are those which are above average in that category.



As always, Taysom is far and away the best runner. He already accounts for nearly 25% of the QB rushing touchdown totals.

You probably already covered this in a previous post, but which quarterback has the most starts, and how many could Hill end up with if he comes back and doesn't miss any games?



Could he feasibly end up with the highest totals in any passing categories?

Interesting to me that detmer and McMahon both had poor ypc (negative for detmer, 0.9 for McMahon), they they both scored on the ground a lot more than all other QBs not named young or hill. These guys knew how to use their feet when it really mattered, but didn't rely on their running to make plays. No wonder those two were so awesome.

McMahon was known for lowering his shoulder instead of stepping out of bounds. But, I doubt either Detmer or MAC had many called runs other than QB Sneak.
