BoiseBYUThis week saw that Idaho Vandals assert themselves with a convincing loss. Michigan moved up with another pathetic offensive performance. And North Caro-got-hit-in-the-loina made a bold move with its play
5. Big 10. They were pushing for number one and with Michigan's offensive ineptitude, they were making a statement. but then Indiana had to mess it all up beating the Missouri Pussycats.
4. North Carolina. They lost to East Carolina setting up a rubber match with the wicked witch of the West...Wait wrong genre. Anyways, the Tarred and Feathered gave up 789 yards in a 70-41, which would almost put East Carolina in West Carolina....
3. Boring out of conference scheduling: SEC. Georgia played Troy and won...snooze... 66-0; Texas A&M won 58-6 over SMU.
2. Michigan Woeverines. They have not scored an offensive touchdown in two games now.
1. Idaho Vandals. My beloved Vandals put together some timely interceptions to keep the drive alive. The only thing holding them back from what might be an epic season is the cancellation of the FL game...
The Miscellany: Travis Wilson should NOT go into high diving. Or low diving for that matter. A year (or two) ago they were World Series competitors. Now the Texas DeRangers have the worst record in baseball and no manager to kick around--he quit last week. What a drop. The Bottom Five is not too in to the NFL, but even it can salivate over a Tampa Bay Oakland game. That game would be prodigious! (new word of the week and not quite right for the context, but still needed to meet goal of using it, so there it is)
