What makes you think we still have a chance or that he may be back in play? Please excuse my ignorance.

I hope so. He would start next year for us. And we need D-line help. I would love to get that kid. His cousin is already coming.

TBS has an article stating he is till considering byu and utah. i highly doubt though that he goes to ether.

With USC & Oregon (along w/ all the other highly rated programs we're familiar with)

courting Big Ricky - I think it's a long shot for BYU. That said - I sure would love to see Ricky come to the "Y." What a HUGE force he would be. An instant impact player.

Anyone know the chances of landing this recruit? He would be the cherry on top of an amazing recruiting class. Not sure if we have any schollies left to give now, but if any of these recruits qualified for academic scholarships, perhaps we do. But you make room for a player of this ability, that is for sure.

Any more news on TBS about the possiblity of Heimuli being interested to play for the Cougs??

Maybe next month when all of the recruits get together for the recruit weekend. That might be when he sees the light.

That will be powerful. If the Y can get Heimuli on campus w/ all the other Blue Chip recruits - it will be magic. Jake Heaps & the star studded recruits will have a magical effect on Heimuli. It's the Coug's best shot.

IMO, Oregon has got to be his favorite, far and away.

Looks like Oregon made a very good impression on him. He seems quite intent on going on a mission and going to a school with a good academic program.

Then Oregon is a great school for him. They're very accommodating - like most BCS schools - to players' mission desires.

I DO know, however, that Bronco invited him to Lavell Edwards Stadium and played over the loudspeaker chants of "Heimuli! Heimuli!", from back in the day when his relative was playing for the Cougars.
