Did anyone else think this about Travis Wilson's move?

"Definitely not Taysom."



It would be totally tragic if the depth of Ute envy stretched so far that Travis Wilson's ill-advised, poorly-executed, unnecessary, and otherwise painful-in-every-way leap of doubt, were motivated by trying to upstage Taysom Hill.



I am genuinely glad that he is okay. By his own admission, he needs to "be smarter" about such a choice. But man, I'll admit it...

My thought was "...and that kind of Wilson decision-making ability is why the Utes won't go bowling"

My thought was, this is how some player is going to die on a football field during a game.

He's lucky to still have a nose after that maneuver. The turf could have scraped it off completely. He's also lucky he didn't break his neck.

I cringed when I saw that. It hurt just to watch it. Agreed that it also seemed to rate very low on the risk-to-benefit scale.

We first witnessed the "Leap of Faith" and now we are treated to the 'Leap of Faceplant"

Wow. Painful. From what I can see, it looks like Travis picked up 1 extra yard - and risked a season/career ending injury. Big time. Good judgement is critical.

actually a better comparison to Taysom is the Ute putz who did the Heisman pose in the endzone after a punt return. A Ute does the pose to take recognition away from all of his teammates who blocked for him, allowing him to score the touchdown, Taysom's Heisman pose comes while actually running for a touchdown....

FYI.....I don't think the Utah player was doing the Heisman pose for attention but to take a shot at Michigan/Desmond Howard (I can't stand that guy).

potato / potato ... HE, (a few months removed from being a Junior Colege player) wanted to take a shot at an actual Heisman winner. The guy nobody knows (or cares) about takes it on himslef to punk an actual Heisman trophy winner in the guy's own house. It is pure classlessness, and I'll happily call out any BYU player who even thinks about doing when we play there.
