Also, East Coast bias is a real thing...there are WAY more East Coast voters!

What is interesting is that the AP voters in the SEC (Arkansas, Alabama, and Florida) and Big 10 areas (Nebraska, Indiana, Ohio) actually voted BYU pretty high. I would have expected nothing but lower votes in the east. This is proof positive that exposure on ESPN or television people actually watch matters, and matters a lot. Well, and winning while you have the exposure.
