First Hand Chat with Povey

So I think I've alluded to it before, but Skye is an entrepreneurship major like myself, so he's in like 4 of my 6 classes. So today I sat next to him and couldn't help but notice that he spent a large portion of class watching Virginia film on his ipad. Just the kind of studying I like to see :evil:



After class was over I mentioned to him how I'm from PA so I drove out to the game last year before school. He was like, "yeah man, I don't know how we lost that game." I asked him if they were gonna pummel Virginia this Saturday. He said something like, "I don't know man, they actually look really good. It's amazing how much they've turned that program around". I just said something like "yeah, they do, but you guy's will gettem."



Anyway, just thought I'd share. I like the fact that they (or at least Skye) are taking VA seriously.



Another side note, we were taking a practice quiz at the beginning of class and Skye walked in a minute or two late, so the teacher was explaining again what the questions were for the quiz, and then he was like (talking to Povey), "or maybe a better question for you to answer would be...uh....why did BYU have a brain freeze in the last few minutes of the 2nd half?" or something to that effect. He was trying to be funny, but I thought it was dumb.

How do you and Skye like Entrepreneurship? My son is considering that major.



Did Skye answer the brain far question?



After seeing our lock down corners and safeties struggle to cover those Houston receivers, maybe.....



Never mind. Probably not.

Im sure that Skye is totally incapable of school and should be removed from school as well as any playing time. :roll:

Great story. Very cool Furrious - Thx for sharing. Inside scoop, no mater how insignificant, is rare, and cool to me. Mongo like. Ultimately, these are young men - students - struggling to meet the demands laced on any student - while carrying the heavy load of an elite D1 program.

I graduated from that program April 2013. Technically, I did general business, but all of my electives were entrepreneurial focused. I really loved it. I learned a ton about business, got a lot of great ideas that would help people in a wide variety of careers.



I'm actually in optometry school now, and when it comes to feeling confident in my ability to run a success optometry practice, I'm light-years beyond most of my classmates.



I'd recommend it to anyone
