Anyone else see the huddle at halftime of the mourning? Talking about BYU mark may just dismissing everything BYU has done so far. Making every excuse for Texas and very sure of himself BYU can't run the table. Funny part of it all is he dismisses are schdule and then say they still can't go unbeaten...Texas def is very good and they r showing it vs ucla..Texas is aboun to punch it in for the lead...Hook'em Horns..I hope Texas shuts mark may up then he has nothing to say about BYU win.

This rule is so antiquated and should never happen in football, why do we even still do it this way? The team that wins the toss should simply choose the first or second half to receive and the other team picks their side to defend, that simple.

The team that wins the coin toss can elect to kick, receive, or defer to the second half. If you choose to kick, instead of defer, you've used your turn to choose and the other team gets to choose to either kick or receive at the beginning of the second half.
