SpiffCougWe now have another game to compare how we've done compared to our opponents normal or average production. Unfortunately, at this stage, our sample size is still quite small, and essentially we're comparing the BYU game to our opponents other game.
As we get deeper into the season I think this comparison gives some value of how well BYU is or isn't doing compared to our opponents defensive and offensive averages.
What I do is compare the BYU game to our opponents averages (after removing the BYU from those calculations). I look at scoring, rushing yards, total yards and passing efficiency on both sides of the ball.
