What happens first-Utah beats a P5 opponent or BYU loses?

There was a lot of Ute trolling in the comments of the Deseret News article on the BYU-Texas game. One idiot was talking up the Utes' win over the "strongest WAC team."

I think most of us would agree that most Ute fans would enjoy a BYU loss more than a Utah win.

It got me thinking about which might happen first--a BYU loss or another Utah win?

The rest of Utah's schedule is against P5 teams, and they might win a couple, but there's a decent chance they finish the season 2-8 without a win in PAC10 play.

Well, since BYU is going to go undefeated this year........

Michigan didn't look all that great today...



And maybe the Utes are better than we thought...

Utah has a good football team as long as Travis Wilson stays healthy. They have a very challenging schedule. Michigan, Arizona, Washington State, and Colorado all look beatable, but not certain wins. They could win 6. Even UCLA looks vulnerable.



Time to focus on BYU. We have a fun ride ahead of us.
