I'm glad he recognizes that the BYU/OSU matchup is in the top 10, but some of his logic is that a game is good because of the coach story, such in FL vs CIN where you have the one coach (Meyer) who spurned Notre Dame and the one coach they are looking at closely (Kelly) at ND. That to me doesn't make it a top matchup.
Wouldn't it be great if the only reason that the Fiesta Bowl matched up TCU and BSU was because the were actually creating a great matchup? I asked that because I'm going to watch it as eagerly as if TCU was matched up against FL and BSU vs. CIN or whomever. We all wanted those other matchups were because we weren't so much looking for a great game, but we wanted to "show" the BCS and make a statement. Talking about pure matchups, I'd have to say TCU/BSU ranks slightly ahead of, but no lower than my football interest to the AL/TX matchup--talking totally from a pure football perspective.
