Has Cougar Corner Banned The SLC Tribune?

I did not see a link in the news feed box to the Kragthorpe article in the Trib today. Would not have known about it, but a Ute friend texted me about it.



Normally, I would be me making the case that SOS matters and that a team with fewer wins might well be the better team. Nonetheless, this pre-season posturing that a 5-7 Utah team that will not be Bowl Eligible would be better that a BYU team with several more wins, fell flat for me THIS YEAR. This is the year they refused to play us because their schedule was too tough. But, they will still want to justify that they are better in 2014. We do not play each other. We have zero common opponents.



Just the Kragthorpe SOS adjustment posturing.



In a year where you refuse to schedule your rival, it will take a lot more than SOS posturing to claim supremacy.

It should be banned.

If not the trib, Kragthorpe needs to bee off the rgular rotation. he's the Jim Rome of Utah sports news... spouts a controversial opinion about everything for ratings, not content

Tribune is not banned. They probably did not distribute the article which the right tags or distribution channels if it didn't get picked up.

I found them entertaining, if not off base--often. But, its good for otherwise provincial folks to get out of their shell and consider a view not popular to the fans or necessarily reported by the homer media. If the reader cant discern truth from error and idiocy, who is the bigger idiot?
