I've said it before and I'll say it again: Oddsmakers are the only ones that can be trusted with the responsibility of ranking teams. That said it's still pretty frustrating to play the underdog role on a neutral field against a team that we outrank in every major poll.

If I were an objective observer I would put my money on OSU as well. They have a record of scoring a lot of points in the first quarter, get most of their points by using their speedy backs who can catch the ball and run in open space on the outside (thank goodness for logan), and they generally have a great passing game which is our defensive weakness.



That said, I'm not, so Go Cougars!!!!! We are going to win!!

OSU is also 5-0 in bowl games with their current coach, all since 2003. Go Cougs! No chance of thinking this is an 'unworthy' opponent...

This may be true. The line has moved down from -2.5 to -1, last I checked.

Are more people betting on Oregon pushing the line back to BYU?

And the only true redemption and manner of earning respect in that situation is to go out and win the game.



Boise State did it, as well as others.... You can't scream for respect. People lose respect for you if you do so.... You earn it decisively "between the lines," "between the whistles" and on the scoreboard.

Yahoo has six lines. For the Vegas Bowl: one is not available. One is 1 1/2, one is 2 and three are 2 1/2. One over/under is 60 and the other four are 60 1/2.
