Note that 2 of those 5 are "P5" teams. And, I think it helps BYU get to 10 wins in 2014. BYU needs a 10-win season. That will be the very best thing for BYU's position in the college football landscape.

I would prefer to beat teams in the 60s instead of 100s.

We will have beaten at least three out of Texas, Boise St., Central Florida, Houston, and Utah St. and likely wins over UConn and P5 California and Virginia. That's enough to at least spin the 10-win season as a great year for BYU - if not enough to actually say it and believe it.

I think they're off. All of those teams with the exception of UNR will be better than they're ranked now. I don't know about Cal, but 116 even at 1-11 still seems low to me.

The most satisfying item I draw from the USA Today listing is, BYU #34, Yewts #66.

as well, a 10 win season with continued wins over the "vaunted P5" horse excrement, will force a relabeling to the upper half of the P5. cause the lower half is really mediocre.

AND, with continued crap coming out about P5, paying players, changing landscape, these kinds of weaknesses in their conferences and arguments, will at some point make legal arguments of Anti-trust" more prominent in a national discussion. When this P5 conglomerate strikes out on their own and wants to monopolize and exclude others, there will be more difficulty.

The problem with greed is it creates machinations of self (entity)-importance; which leads to hubris; which leads to weaknesses in the defense of their cause and susceptibility to the Anti-trust precedence in the American society.
